雨や雪が織りなす風景は、いつも私の心を強く揺さぶります。 とりわけ、金沢で初めて目にした、すべてを覆い尽くす真っさらな新雪の光景。世界が白くリセットされるような感覚は、今も鮮烈な記憶として刻まれています。雪もまた、夜の闇と同じように、地上のあらゆるものを静けさの中に閉じ込め、独特の空気感を形成します。 降り注ぐ雨の湿度、音を吸い込む雪の静寂。それらは単なる気象現象ではなく、世界の輪郭を柔らかく変容させるフィルターです。本展では、その湿潤な空気の中に漂う情緒を、画面の中に留めました。
Scenery woven by rain and snow has always deeply moved me. I vividly remember the first time I saw pristine, untouched snow covering everything in Kanazawa. The sensation that the world had been reset to white remains etched in my memory. Like the darkness of night, snow encapsulates everything on the ground in silence, forming a unique atmosphere. The humidity of falling rain and the sound-absorbing silence of snow are not merely weather phenomena; they act as filters that softly transform the contours of the world. In this exhibition, I have captured the emotion drifting within that moisture-laden air.

ポラロイド Polaroid
ポラロイド特有の「ましかく」の構図に惹かれ、以前から愛機 SX-70 で撮影を続けています。 昨今のフィルム高騰により、かつてのように気軽にシャッターを切ることは難しくなりましたが、それがかえって一枚一枚の重みを感じさせてくれます。 本シリーズは、「雨と雪」展の開催期間中、久しぶりにカメラを持ち、ギャラリー周辺を撮影したものです。ふと見上げた街の表情。現像されるまでの待ち時間も含め、デジタルとは異なる温度を持った空気感が、この小さな正方形の中に定着しています。
Captivated by the unique square composition of Polaroid photography, I have long been shooting with my beloved SX-70. While the recent rise in film prices has made it difficult to snap photos as casually as before, this constraint has conversely given weight to every single shot. This series was taken around the gallery during the "Rain and Snow" exhibition, when I picked up the camera for the first time in a while. It captures the expression of the streets I saw when I looked up, released from the tension of the exhibition space. Including the time spent waiting for the image to develop, an atmosphere with a different temperature than digital photography is fixed within these small squares.
