松木直紀（Naoki Matsuki）

イラストレーター、アーティスト。TIS（東京イラストレーターズ・ソサエティ）会員。

1979年千葉県生まれ。千葉大学大学院にて視覚工学を専攻。2003年よりメーカーにてデジタルカメラの画像処理アプリケーション開発や、ディープラーニングを用いた医用AIの研究開発に従事し、研究開発チームリーダーを務める。その傍ら、山田博之イラストレーション講座（17期）を経て、2019年より本格的にイラストレーターとして活動。

筆致を残す力強いマティエールと、写真的な構図を融合させた画風を特徴とする。空気感や温度を切り取るような描写を得意とし、対象となる物語を深く解釈した叙情的な表現で、文芸、ミステリー、ノンフィクション作品などの装画・挿絵を中心に活動している

Naoki Matsuki

Tokyo-based Illustrator and Artist. Member of the Tokyo Illustrators Society (TIS).

Born in Chiba, Japan in 1979. Matsuki studied Visual Engineering at Chiba University Graduate School. Since 2003, he has worked in research and development at a tech company, specializing in image processing and medical AI. Alongside his career as an R&D team leader, he completed the Hiroyuki Yamada Illustration Course (Class 17) and began his professional illustration practice in 2019.

His work combines expressive brushwork, heavy textures, and carefully structured, photographic compositions. Known for atmospheric depictions of light and temperature, he creates profound and lyrical illustrations for book covers and editorial works, primarily in literary fiction, mystery, and nonfiction.
